Bypassing the UPF for Ultra-Low Latency Edge Computing

⚡ Microsecond Path Optimization: Eliminating Mobile Core Bottlenecks via Direct Routing

Traditional mobile networks route all subscriber traffic through a centralized UPF (User Plane Function)appliance for accounting and security checking before sending it to its final destination, creating a massive latency penalty for edge applications.

🛠️ The UPF Bypass Model: We eliminate this latency bottleneck by engineering direct UPF bypass frameworks using SRv6 Flex-Algos. If a subscriber requests an ultra-low-latency edge application, our architecture routes their data straight to the edge compute node at wire speed, while preserving accounting tracking via standard headers, bypassing centralized bottlenecks entirely.
